Diabetes Awareness

November is Diabetes Awareness month and this is a cause that ECS goes all in for. Great work Cobras on all the learning, advocating and awareness you bring forward with this disease.

Our students have done various activities, lessons and advoacy on the news about diabetes. Our grade 03 class in particular took things to the next level by:

• Spreading awareness facts around the school

• Dexcom Overpatch sensor activity

• Sugar level activity

• Insulin balloon lessons

• Facilitating announcements and presentations for other grades

• Funding advocacy letters to various government officials

Our young leaders continue to amaze!
