Topic:  Financial Aid Process (FAFSA)

Objective: Students will review the Financial Aid Process.

ASCA Mindsets & Behaviors Standard (s); M 6. Understanding that postsecondary education and life-long learning are necessary for long-term career success; B-LS 7. Long- and short-term academic, career and social/emotional goals.

• FAFSA Slideshow (below)

Procedures:

1. Remind students they can begin completing their FAFSA for the 2026-27 school year anytime after October 1st.

2. Ask students to Share with your parents that PHS will be hosting a FAFSA Fill-Out-the-Form Night on November 5th, from 3pm to 7pm.  (more details in slide show) - - where they can get help to fill out their Financial Aid form.
