Materials:
Blank paper for scoring
Pencil
Computer or phone to use as a timer
Procedures:
Make a copy of the Google Slides, Connections: Jeopardy Game ("File" -> "Make Copy" -> "Entire Presentation").
Have a piece of paper and a pencil ready to keep track of each team's score.
Divide your class into three teams.
Have the students select one person to be the spokesperson for the team. Ensure they don't take more than 10 seconds to select their spokesperson.
Decide the order in which the teams will play.
Start the game! Have the first team select a category and point value.
Read the question. Then, give students 30 seconds to answer (use a timer). The team's spokesperson must provide the answer.
Move to the next team, repeating the selection and answering process until all categories are completed or time runs out (e.g., 3 minutes of class left).
Tally up the points for each team.
Declare a winner. The winning team gets bragging rights (sorry, no candy available).
