How to use Originality Reports for teachers and students
In Google Classroom, the Stream is the "social" area of the classroom that can be used for announcements to the class. Classwork is where the learning content and student interaction is housed.
In Classwork, TOPICS can be used to help organize student learning experiences. Topics can be added by unit, topic of study, projects, etc.
Thinking about how you wish to organize your classroom to best suit the needs of your learners.
Rubrics can be added to Assignments, Quiz Assignments,
Create assignment
Name assignment
In assignment, click on + Rubric to create a rubric
Create rubric
If you have already created Rubrics, you can reuse or import from Google Sheets

When you turn on originality reports, you and your students can check work for authenticity. Originality reports use Google Search to compare a student’s work against billions of webpages and millions of books. Originality reports link to the detected webpages and flag uncited text. The reports can:
Help students identify unintentional plagiarism and uncited content before submitting assignments.
Help teachers see where students used source material and where citations are present or missing.
Teacher can use Originality Reports for 3 assignments per semester
Report checks against all pages available to Google Search and Google Books
What are Flagged Passages?
Are similar to text found on a webpage.
Aren’t cited or quoted by the student.
Does not verify correct MLA/APA citations
To view a report, open the assignment, select student, if there are any flagged text, click on # flagged passages
Note: Originality reports are currently available only:
For Google Accounts set to English.
For work completed in Google Docs.

Google Meet video conferencing can be integrated into Google Classroom by using the Classroom Calendar.
Only teachers can create video meetings in Classroom.
Teachers and students must use school accounts and be in the same domain.
All teachers and students in a Google Classroom are put into a automatically-generated group. This group is named the same as the classroom name.
Educators now have live streaming, recording, and 250 person class video meetings for free until September 30, 2020.
Video meetings are available on the web and mobile versions of Classroom
