The Mako Lab

"The Makerspace Business Education Classroom"

Welcome to Ms. Oliver's Business Education Classroom!

Hello, I am Ms. Oliver, and I am excited to be your instructor this semester!

I have lived in Myrtle Beach since I was a very young child. My parents were stationed here when the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base was open in what now is called The Market Common. I spent most of my childhood in the Myrtle Beach area attending Horry County Schools. I later moved to Montgomery, Alabama as a young teen and finally moved back to Myrtle Beach in high school where I attended and graduated from Socastee High School "Once A Brave, Always A Brave!"

I attended college in Jacksonville, FL, and returned home to Myrtle Beach to complete my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees at Coastal Carolina University "GO Chants!"

I have worked in many positions in the business and marketing field in many different industries; hospitality, retail, construction, and education. I am looking forward to having an exciting and interactive semester teaching you about the business world!

On this page, you will find a general overview and expectations for all of my courses. Feel free to contact me by phone or email at your convenience.
