Assessment Reporting Using Mobile Devices
Directions
The video tutorial for reporting student learning outcomes assessments for your course is located in the university portal in two convenient locations, in the faculty advising area and in the assessment resources SharePoint site. Follow the activity steps using a mobile device to locate and watch the video tutorial. After watching the video, access the assessment reporting tool by clicking on the Report Assessment button. Complete the assessment report using information from a course you are currently assigned. Your information will not be used for actual assessment reporting, this is a practice exercise to familiarize you with the tool. This activity is worth 20 points.

Locate and watch the video tutorial and complete a practice assessment report.
STEP 1
For this activity, open a new browser window and type in the Uniform Resource Locator hornet.emporia.edu and press enter. This will take you to the HORNET365 University Portal.
STEP 2
On the left side navigation bar, select Faculty from the list of linked options. This selection takes you to the faculty landing page.
STEP 3
Scroll down the page until you see the FACULTY & ADVISING linked text "Select here to view the faculty & advisor tools", click on this link.
STEP 4
Under the section titled FACULTY TOOLS, click on the linked text titled "Video Tutorial". After the video loads, click on the arrow to watch the video.
STEP 5
After viewing the tutorial, select the Report Assessment button. This activity is intended as a practice report to give you a hands on experience at entering a course assessment report. After completing the report, click the submit button. You will receive your 20 activity points when the report has been submitted.
