Howdy friends!

I'm excited to introduce myself as the counselor for students in Alpha S – Z, from sophomores through seniors. My goal is to support you in any way I can throughout your time here.

I grew up in the Bay Area of San Francisco and northern California, and I completed high school and my first year of college in Reno, Nevada. My husband Cody and I have three wonderful daughters: Madeline, who works as a civil engineer and lives in Denton with her fiancé Derrick; Presley, who cheers at McMath; and Sloane, who is wrapping up her last year of elementary school at Sam Houton.

Before transitioning into my role as a school counselor, I spent 16 years teaching U.S. and Texas history. My passion is connecting with people and learning about their experiences.
