This page includes all of the set-up and login information about any external web services we will use this year in orchestra. Bookmark this page for easy access in the future.
BEFORE sending Ms. Harvey an email saying that you are having trouble logging in to something, please re-check the login instructions very carefully. Many help emails end up being an error on the student's end with not following the login instructions provided.
If you have a login but need to join a different class for this year, click the code below for your class.
1. Go to Login Screen
2. If you have never logged in before, click "I'm a student - Join a class."
2. If you have created an account before, log in, then open your profile screen (person-shaped icon in upper right on home screen). Then click "join a class."
3. Copy and paste the correct class code below to join.
Please only join the ensemble you are in.
4. You will be asked to create an account. Use your DISD student email address to begin the login process. PLEASE make sure you spell your email address correctly. Most login issues we have with this process end up being that the student didn't type their own email address in correctly.
5. On the checkbox that asks if you are 13, if you click No, you will be prompted to have a parent enter their email address and communication through smart music will go to their email address. If your parent feels comfortable doing so, you may click Yes instead or enter your email address in place of a parent address.
6. During online profile setup, please use your real, full, first and last name with capitalization. For example: Angela Harvey
7. Choose a password that you can easily remember, such as your regular DISD student password.
1. Go to https://rcms-orchestra.sites.noteflight.com You MUST use this link to sign in. Your login information will not work on the public Noteflight site due to the nature of our educational membership (you can't google "Noteflight" and try to log in at the first page you see, which will be the public site.
2. Your user name is your LAST name and then FIRST name with a space in between and no punctuation. Example: Harvey Angela. In this site, I need your username to start with your last name so that you are sorted in the same alphabetical order as our gradebook.
3. You password is your Denton ISD student ID number. You are recommended to leave this as your password all year. If you changed your password last year and cannot remember it, you may have to reach out to Ms. Harvey to re-set it.
