Audition Information

Audition Tips and Procedures - PLEASE read before audition

Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025

Time: Audition times will be provided to students about 1-2 weeks prior to the audition date. Students who have a conflict on that day can submit a request of an AM or PM time to Ms. Harvey no later than Oct. 3. Students can't request particular times, but this ensures that the student is at least placed in the half of the day that works around their conflict the best we can.

Audition Location and Instructions:

Shadow Ridge Middle School - 2050 Aberdeen Dr. Flower Mound.  

There is no check-in table. When you arrive, begin immediately warming up in the warm-up area and wait to hear your group called to line up a the "report time" listed on your audition time assignment letter. There will be several orchestra directors present in the warm-up area. Please have one of them check your tuning on your instrument before your audition. There is not an opportunity to have someone do this after your "report time." Ms. Harvey will be on campus all day but may be judging and will rarely be in the warm-up area to assist students.
