1. You were originally introduced to the concept of comparing and ordering numbers in kindergarten.  

2. You can use comparative language, including greater than, less than, and equal to, as well as the corresponding symbols >, <, and =. 

3. In addition, you know how to compare numbers using place value. Students are also familiar with decimals and are aware that decimals are numbers that include a decimal point followed by one or more digits that depict a value less than one. 

4. In fourth grade, you compared and ordered decimal numbers to the hundredths place. You used models to help visualize comparisons.
