Whiteboard Apps

There are three native whiteboard apps pre-installed. Click on the app icon below to learn more.

Annotate in Google Apps

You can annotate and markup your files in Docs, Slides, and Drive directly within the app.

Export your image to Google Drive or share it via a QR code.
You can also import screenshots directly from the Crop tool.

Automatically saves files, allowing you can pick up where you left off with ease.
Accessible from any input source.

The color palette is customizable and blendable.
Similar to Microsoft Paint with features like color sampling and fill.

Chrome

File Storage

An internet connection is required to access web-based content. Chrome is the default browser. When opened, the URL bar at the top allows you to enter a web address or search the internet. To open additional tabs, select the plus (+) icon, or use the three-dot menu to open a new tab or window.

Pro Tip: Android is technically a mobile operating system, so if you see the mobile view on a webpage, you can change to desktop view. Just click the ellipsis menu or the three dots in the top right and select desktop view.

To access your files and saved content, select the profile icon in the top-right corner to sign in to your Google account for access to Drive, browsing history, and bookmarks.

You can access Finder from the All Apps menu by swiping up from the home screen or by using the overlay toolbar and selecting All Apps.

Storage locations are listed along the left side, with the default view set to Recent.

Select Local Files to view files stored on the device, Cloud Drives to access connected Google Drive or OneDrive accounts, or USB to access external storage when connected.

Slides

Installing New Apps

When you are ready to present, tap the play icon in the top-right corner to start the slideshow. Swipe left or right on the screen to navigate between slides. You can also use the directional controls on your remote or tap the bottom-left corner of the screen to access presenter controls.

When finished, tap the top-left corner and select the back arrow to exit full-screen mode.

Open the Play Store app and sign in if prompted. Search for the apps you need for instruction, then select Install. Once installed, the app will appear on your home screen and in the All Apps menu.

*If you are unable to access the Play Store or cannot find a specific app, contact your IT department, as access may be restricted.
