Since many social media platforms are intended for students 13 and up, lots of families have rules about using social media. It’s important to set boundaries for yourself, to help you have a positive experience. Resisting the pressure to always be connected can be challenging, especially when you’re constantly getting notifications. You might consider changing your notification preferences or choosing times to put your phone down.
Remember, you have the power to use social media in a healthy and balanced way which helps you become a better Digital Citizen.
