Service Opportunities

Serving your local community can unlock many benefits for you and your student organization. Service can be directly related to your organization's mission, and it can also help your organization reach other goals like providing leadership opportunities, increasing social ties among your members, and even connecting your members to the community and the world.

On-Campus Opportunities

Paw Pantry

The Paw Pantry is a community-wide movement to reduce food insecurity and promote wellbeing. Donate non-perishable food, school supplies, hygienic products, menstrual products, and household items. Student organizations may also schedule a donation drive, volunteer at the pantry, or request educational sessions about food insecurity. Off-Campus Opportunities

Clemson Downs Retirement Center

This nonprofit retirement community provides opportunities to serve in the Health Care Center, Memory Car, and Assisted Living. Volunteers may also assist with lunch or supper (dinner), serve at the receptionist's desk, visit residents, help with bingo, assist with van outings, and more!

The purpose of the Clemson Downs Volunteers is to provide for the general welfare and well-being of the residents of the Clemson Area Retirement Center Health Care Center and other CARC residents by providing volunteer services, equipment and programs.

Clemson Community Care

CCC provides necessities like food, shelter, and utilities to help individuals become self-sufficient through programs and advocacy. Visit their website for more information on how you can help, including volunteering, donating food, sponsoring the Senior Food Box Program, or holding a food Drive.

Helping Hands Thrift Store
