Skills & Experience

Showcase the leadership skills you've learned in your student organization when searching for what's next.

Reflect on your experiences

What organizations have you been involved in at Clemson?

Think of each organization you've joined and what you've experienced though each organization. You may have had leadership experiences as both a general body member and as a leader with a formal position. What did you accomplish and learn while in each organization? You could also review position descriptions in the constitution for any formal leadership positions you held.

When reviewing your experiences, think:

  • What was the biggest accomplishment in your role? What are you most proud of?

  • What was your typical role during meetings or events?

  • What programs or events did you help plan?

  • Did you create any new program, event, or initiative?

  • How did you help your organization accomplish its goals? What change did you create?
