Clear and Effective Communication
Students can demonstrate organized and purposeful communication.

For his Public Speaking class, Tristan shared a slideshow with 6th graders about how to be a good public speaker.

The wildlife biology class had a park ranger from Yellowstone National Park skype into class to give a presentation on wildlife and the return of wolves in Yellowstone. The students are amidst an ecology project where they learn about ecological concepts and then take a stance on the hypothetical question of whether wolves should be reintroduced to the state of Vermont.
The high school band rehearses for their winter concert.
National Honor Society students collaborate with the Franklin County United Way to help sort toys for Operation Happiness.
Counseling Department
Scheduling for 2025-2026
Students will receive Scheduling Materials for the 25-26 School Year in Advisory in the middle of January and course requests will be due prior to Feb Break. We will share more information with families in January and students and families are welcome to meet with their school counselor as part of this process.

Grades 10 & 11
January 6th: Dual Enrollment & Early College at CCV Presentation during advisory. All 10th graders will attend with their advisory. Any 11th graders interested in Early College for their senior year are highly encouraged to attend!
Grade 12
Be sure to keep an eye on the local scholarship document in the coming months.
January 13th: Katherine and Linnea are offering a VSAC Scholarship work session during advisory in the flex room.
