About

I’m a theatre maker and multidisciplinary creative leader working at the intersection of arts, education, and social impact.

From 2021 to 2025, I served as Executive Artistic Director of Golden Thread Productions in San Francisco, the first U.S. theatre company devoted to the Middle East, where I curated and produced four seasons of world premieres, classical, commissioned, and devised works, expanding the company’s reach and deepening its engagement locally and internationally.

From 2012 to 2020, I taught theatre at the American University of Beirut, where I served as Head of the Minor Program in Theatre. With my collaborator, playwright Robert Myers, I co-founded the Theatre Initiative, directing classical and contemporary works alongside devised documentary and site-specific performances.

Alongside my creative practice, I work as a trainer and consultant, designing theatre-based programs as well as programs that support leadership, mental fitness, and team effectiveness, drawing on neuroscience-informed methodologies.

I’m a Fulbright Scholar, a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab, and co-founder of Directors Lab Mediterranean. I’m committed to building inclusive, collaborative spaces where creativity and human connection can thrive.

Last but not least, I’m also a mother, a role I cherish deeply and one that continues to shape how I lead, create, and connect.
