We’re excited to kick off the 2025–2026 professional development in Science with a two-day event in August focused on Critical Thinking. These sessions will explore the application of inductive reasoning and student-generated questions across all subjects and various Science courses.
Following the August sessions, additional professional learning opportunities will be offered throughout the year. These sessions will continue to explore the intersection of critical thinking and scientific learning, with a deeper dive into course-specific strategies and content.
Participation in the August sessions is not required to attend future PD offerings, but it is highly encouraged as a valuable foundation for the year ahead.
August 2-Day Event Dates:
Day 1: Monday, August 11, 2025
Day 2: Tuesday, August 26, 2025
Details on sessions beyond August—including topics, dates, and course-specific focus areas—will be shared in the fall.
