A People's Climate Movement. A comic/zine created by 350.org Portland that focuses on local issues and local actions by community members, by pointing out that the root of climate change is not greenhouse gas emissions, but the social, political, and economic systems that promote the reliance on fossil fuels.
Teach Climate Justice Campaign. A website by Zinn Education Project that contains links to teaching resources, stories, a climate crisis timeline, and other activities.
Tackling Climate Change through Environmental Justice High School. A short curriculum by NOAA that explores connections between environmental discrimination and ways to address environmental injustices. Lessons can be adapted for community education environments.

The Plastics Project Handbook. A youth-centered and co-designed curriculum by the Vermilion Sea Institute and Aventureros for realizing environmental change based on how to fight plastic pollution.
Guide to co-design. A site by the Sunlight Foundation under the Roadmap to Informed Communities, that explores the process of co-design as a participatory model and offers examples as well as tips.

Alianza Youth Leadership Program is a youth of color-led movement of collective voices connecting leaders to unlock their leadership potential and bring change to their communities. Through community organizing and training, Alianza aims to build onto the leadership of youth of color by providing them a platform and resources to do so. To be part of Alianza, you have to participate in one of our ongoing programs or events, which at the moment include our Youth Fellowship Program (ages 19-24), our Advocacy Council program (15 to 18) or our Annual Leadership Conference (15 to 24).

Fieldscope. A map-based data collection and analysis platform managed by BSCS Science Learning. FieldScope enables organizations, community members, and learners to monitor and actively address issues, such as environmental and social challenges, that are concerning to them.
Getting Started to Create Your Own Climate and Energy. A webpage by the Committed to Climate and Energy Education that contains templates and ideas of how to design lessons and activities and link them to Next Generation Science Standards (educational standards). This is a great tool for teachers.
Climate and Economic Justice Screening tool. An interactive map by the U.S. Council on Environmental Quality that looks into environmental, health, and socioeconomic data at a census tract level to identify overburdened and underserved communities across the United States.
Climate Action Toolkits. A collection of different toolkits focused on emergency preparedness for different climate hazards as well as multiple ideas to continue taking action from individual to community levels. Produced by The Climate Initiative.
