Mr. Blevins is a new teacher at Frink-Chambers. He has been teaching for 12 years. He used to teach at McAlester Middle School. He has been married for 12 years and has 2 kids and 3 dogs. Fortunately for him, he likes Frink more than McAlester.
Since Mr. Blevins works with wood, we asked about his favorite thing to make, which was a kitchen table. On the other hand, his least favorite thing to make was bookshelves.

Every year the Pittsburg County Conservation District provides a fishing clinic to students in 5th grade. The clinic is designed to educate students on the basics of fishing, types of fish, and effects of pollution. Students receive a fishing pole and prizes for the most fish caught are awarded at the conclusion of the clinic.
Unfortunately, last year the clinic was cancelled due to weather. So, as 6th graders these students were asked to attend the clinic on Thursday, September 26. Students enjoyed the educational stations as well as getting the opportunity to do some actual fishing. While most didn't catch anything, they still enjoyed the time outside.
We did have a big winner, Eli Capers. He won a pretty cool tackle box because he caught a 6 oz. fish.
