This year, hundreds of Franklin High School seniors participated in the highly anticipated Senior Project. With the upcoming farewell of the class of 2024 and the rising seniors of 2025, here is a summary, a recap, and some advice based on this year's senior projects.
Senior project allows seniors to use their last quarter of the school year to gain experience in a field of study they are interested in or passionate about. Seniors can find an internship or participate in an approved activity. Receiving payment is not allowed. Senior Projects allow students to pursue a passion and give back to a community. With such a broad requirement the options are immense.

As for advice, senior Lexi Winkler worked with physical therapists at the Adirondack club, and had a few things to share. Winkler stated, "Senior Project was a great way to pursue a passion while also helping others." She also added that it helped her see what her future job might look like before she went to college. Lastly, she recommends the Senior Project because of "the freedom it provides in scheduling and ability to explore and interest." While Senior Project is not for everyone, it has many benefits and was enjoyed by those who participated.
