Engaged Collaborator

When it comes to me, facing problems or conflicts, I would have a tendency to try to deal with it completely on my own. At the beginning, I would struggle with what specific driving question I wanted to do my research project, in addition to not knowing how to effectively manage my time and deal with procrastination. Nonetheless, by effective communication with my Capstone Advisor, I was able to find solutions to my problems, in addition to also learning from them. She was able to give me an advice of how to deal with procrastination, in addition to what to do when you feel overwhelmed by the amount of work you have to do. I appreciate her support and being an understanding teacher.

At the beginning of the process, I would struggle with submitting the material on time due to my lack of time management skills. I would try, however, I would still struggle with the issue. I was able to find a way to resolve the conflict and my overall performance in the 2nd semester has significantly improved. I and my Capstone Advisor were very happy to see my personal growth in terms of time management and submitting the necessary material either right on time or way before the actual deadline. I appreciate the support I had from her and I'm glad that this course has taught me to take personal accountability for my mistakes, look at my timing more realistic and seek the root of the problem when I am met with one.
