Attention to Accuracy
When it comes to writing a large writing piece that is highly scientific, I want to ensure that the information is accurate and clear. When I would read, annotate, and analyze the scholarly articles related to my research project, I would try to connect the common topics together that were discussed in priorly analyzed scholarly articles, in addition to also ensuring that the information makes logical sense. This level of attention to accuracy helped me ensure that my understanding of topics is clear and correct, to the point when I can confidently explain it to someone else. In addition, when I was meeting with community contacts, as we were discussing the topics that I discussed in my research paper, I was also ensuring that the information is accurate, by asking them questions.

Logical Reasoning

As I would go through various scholarly articles, I would try to see similarities, notice any patterns, and how the approaches were different when it comes to a similar problem of detecting certain cyber attacks. The synthesis of knowledge significantly helped me understand the topic pattern by making logical connections. In addition, as I would read the research papers, looking at and evaluating data helped me even more in terms of understanding the subject. I even included the data from one of the scholarly articles in my research paper to show that what I'm saying has been proven to be true through someone else's experiment. With all of that, it helped me draw logical reasoning between topics.
