Effects of this class on me
I would like to thank Farmington High School, my Capstone Advisor Mrs. Tebbetts, and others who were helping me along the way of this journey. This class is truly helpful and taught me many useful skills that would be most definitely helpful in college. Now, I understand the process of writing a research paper and have significantly expanded my knowledge in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Considering that in the future, I want to have a career in the field of cybersecurity, this gives me a head start in my understanding, versus others who weren't able to gain this much knowledge about the topics. In addition, this taught me a lot about myself, my habits and how to combat the negative ones, and how important networking is.
I got lucky with my connections with GenCyber Agent Academy. It gave me access to many people who specialized in the topics I needed for my project and the process of reaching out and meeting them was very smooth. I appreciate that this year, as the same camp is going to be run by CCSU this summer, CCSU plans on giving support to those to decide to take a Capstone course next school year and have a project related to cybersecurity. I wish the future high school data scientists and White-Hat hackers (ethical security hackers - exploit the security systems to identify flaws and recommend the solutions to them) the best on this journey because it is fun and teaches a lot of skills

My personal reflection on the future, considering the course
I am part of class of 2026 for the University of New Haven and plan on studying "Cybersecurity and Networks"
At the end of the day, this course helped me get a deep dive into the field that I am interested in having a career in. I'm convinced that it was helpful in terms of getting into colleges I applied to this year. Moreover, there are not many opportunities for high schoolers to explore cybersecurity, so as soon as I learned more details about this course, I decided it can be a great opportunity to partake.
I can talk about cybersecurity and artificial intelligence for hours, moreover even teach or explain to someone else, if they're interested. I would like to stay in contact with FHS and see if any Capstone in the future would like to contact me to discuss my experience. Overall, I appreciate taking this course, as this just adds one more accomplishment to my small collection, as I slowly work my way on becoming a White-Hat hacker.
