Since the 2022-2023 School Year, every student at Highlands High School individually meets with their school counselor to receive individual scheduling sessions to help maximize high school learning opportunities for next year.
As a District we are committed to continue supporting Gold Standard Project Based Learning through continued professional learning offerings with national, state and local cohorts.
Extracurricular activities and athletics are located on the District website and are listed on the Experiences and Opportunities Gallery. We are continuing to explore additional clubs and opportunities to ensure that students have access to activities that will engage them at school and in the community and propel them to success in a post secondary capacity.
As a District, we will continue to engage community partners to share their professional expertise with all five schools. We believe exposing students to a multitude of opportunities will develop enduring skills during their elementary and middle school years. By identifying and utilizing this knowledge high school students will have the opportunity to participate in "experienceships" that will engage them in the community.
