Fort Thomas Independent Schools is committed to helping students use technology safely, responsibly, and thoughtfully, both in the classroom and beyond. As a 1:1 district, we believe digital citizenship is a core life skill, and we teach it intentionally at every level.
Digital Citizenship instruction is woven into learning across all grade levels through the Common Sense Media curriculum, a research-based program that helps students think critically, behave safely, and participate responsibly online. Lessons address topics such as online safety, media balance, digital footprint, cyberbullying, and information literacy, scaffolded appropriately from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Fort Thomas Independent Schools is proud to share that all five of our schools have earned the Common Sense Media Schools designation, demonstrating a committment to a community based approach to digital citizenship.
