PSAT
The PSAT is administered to students on the Bluebook application, which can be downloaded on student devices from FTIS Self Service.
In order to download this application, students must have a minimum MacOS of 11.4.
First: Check macOS and Update if Needed
If your system requires an update this must be done at home with your computer plugged into the charger.
Check the version of macOS your computer is currently running.
Click on the Apple in the top left corner of your screen and select “About This Mac”.
Check which version of macOS you are running.
If the version is below 11.4, then you must update.
Plug your computer into the charger in a safe location with internet access. It is best to run operating system updates while at home.
2. Go to System Preferences
Click on the Apple in the top left corner of your screen and select “System Preferences”.
3. Check Software Update
Locate the “Gear” Icon “Software Update” and open it.
4. Other Updates Are Available
Underneath “Other updates are available” select “More info" (Do NOT click Upgrade Now).
5. Install Now
The available updates should be listed and checked. Press “Install Now” and follow the prompts.
6. Updating may take some time, and your computer may restart several times during the process.
Once completed, log back into your computer, and check the current version of macOS to make sure the update is installed correctly.

Locate Bluebook Exams
Press Install
Locate the Application
When it is installed go to:
Finder (Smiley face located in the Dock >> Applications >> Locate the Bluebook application
