Appropriate candidates for this cadre would have acquired 2 years of completed LETRS Training or an equivalent learning pathway. To build upon the LETRS learning, teachers will engage in a book study. Text options could include "The Reading Comprehension Blueprint" and "Bringing Words to Life." (Cadre members will select the text as a group.). After completing the book study, cadre participants will examine each strand of Scarborough's Reading Rope and identify potential screening tools and intervention options that align with each strand of the reading rope that could be used at each elementary school for the MTSS process.
