In some cases, you'll be considered based on your college application, while others have separate application processes. Please see the websites for each program for information about eligibility/requirements, deadlines and application process.

Lyceum Scholars Program: Open to incoming freshmen of any major, the Lyceum Scholars Program uses a great books approach to studying the moral, political and economic foundations of a free society. All Lyceum Scholars receive a $10,000 scholarship disbursed over their four years at Clemson University.
Call Me Doctor ESTEEMED Scholars Program: The NIH-funded Call Me Doctor© - ESTEEMED (Enhancing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Educational Diversity) Scholars Program helps underrepresented freshman and sophomore-level trainees develop as scholars and scientists.
Named Scholarships: First-year students who apply for admission to Clemson by the regular decision deadline of January 1, submit all required admissions materials by January 10, and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the priority deadline of March 1 are automatically considered for these named scholarship programs. There is no separate scholarship application for these scholarship programs, but the National Scholars Program and Breakthrough Scholars Program requires students to apply to the Clemson University Honors College
Merit Awards: Coastal Carolina University is committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and recognizes outstanding freshman and transfer students through its merit award program. Merit Awards are based on academic criteria as demonstrated by performance in a rigorous high school program and by performance on standardized test scores, or by performance at a regionally accredited college or university based on collegiate GPA.
Application-based Scholarships: Each year both newly accepted and continuing students will be eligible to apply for Application-based Scholarships. Coastal Carolina University, the Coastal Educational Foundation, and the Horry County Higher Education uses an online scholarship application to match students to scholarships.
Boys State & Girls State: Students who attended Boys State or Girls State can receive the $25,000 annual Palmetto State scholarship, totaling $100,000 over four years. They must apply by our Early Action deadline of December 1 to qualify.
Service Entrepreneurship Competition: Service-oriented students can compete for a full-ride scholarship through our Service Entrepreneurship Competition. By submitting a community-focused business plan by December 1, they have the chance to win significant financial awards.
Griffith Scholarship: The Griffith Scholarship covers full tuition, fees, room, and board for up to four years. We invite candidates with exceptional academics, leadership, and character to compete for the Griffith. Students must apply by December 1 to be considered.
Presbyterian Promise Scholarships: Students accepted to PC who are Presbyterian church members or attend Presbyterian schools can receive a $20,000 annual scholarship, renewable for up to four years—a total award of $80,000.
General University Awards: The Office of Undergraduate Admissions offers a number of merit scholarships to help make college more affordable.
Academic Scholarships: The scholarships will be awarded to students who enroll as a new freshman or transfer for the stated semester.
Close Scholarship: Through the establishment of the Close Scholars Program, the Springs Close Foundation, together with Winthrop University, enables talented and committed students to develop the social consciousness and inner strength that comes from helping others, as well as a legacy with a rich yield to the greater community.
TIPS Scholars Program: Designed to support high-achieving, low-income students with demonstrated financial need, providing scholarships of up to $15,000 per year (up to $60,000 over four years).
Wofford Scholars: Since 1949, outstanding high school seniors have been competing at Wofford for scholarships based on academic achievement, leadership and character. Scholarships range between $60,000 and $250,000 over a four-year period. Requires a nomination (self-nomination or by counselor) with typical deadline of October of senior year.
Merit-Based Scholarships: We evaluate every applicant for merit-based scholarships upon receiving their Common Application. Scholarships available for those receiving LIFE/Palmetto Fellows scholarship, are first-generation, attended Boys or Girls State and more.
Scholarship Programs: Merit scholarship programs recognize extraordinary achievement, leadership, and talent.
FSU's Service Scholars: The Service Scholar program is designed to promote civic responsibility as an integral part of a liberal arts education at Florida State University and to recognize students with an outstanding record of service and leadership.
Scholarship Central: Students applying for admission to Virginia Tech who wish to apply for scholarships first need to complete the admissions application. After submitting your admissions application, you will should receive an email from the Office of Admissions with instructions on creating your admissions portal login credentials.
Recruitment Scholarships: Incoming first-year students who have indicated on their Virginia Tech undergraduate application an interest in the Honors College are eligible to apply for the following recruitment scholarships.
