Determine What Type of Job You Want
What type of position do you want?
What type of company do you want to work for?
Are there jobs that align with your interests or hobbies?
What is your job search radius?
Do you have transportation to get to a job?
How far would you want to drive?
How many hours do you want to work?
What schedule will work best for you with your other commitments (school, activities, etc.)?
Are there any restrictions on hours you can work based on your age (employers may also only hire employees at a certain age)

Make sure you have an appropriate voicemail greeting.
Write/update your resume and if needed, a cover letter.
Develop your list of references - this should include former employers, teachers, coaches - but not your immediate family or best friend! Your references should be able to speak to your work ethic, dependability, skills.
