Subject Reporting:
Kindergarten
Report on all standards assessed.
English Language Arts
Grade 1-6 teachers are required to assign an achievement indicator for every ELA standard.
Math, Science, Social
Grade 1-6 teachers assign the indicators for the following processes for all topics assessed:
Knowledge and Skills - The student acquires key knowledge about the subject and is able to engage in the subject using relevant skills.
Understandings - The student is able to apply and communicate knowledge and skills regarding a subject in order to demonstrate an understanding of big ideas.
Wellness, Physical Education, Music, Art
Report on all standards assessed.
Report Card Comments:
Every student will receive a Citizenship and Social Responsibility (Homeroom) comment.
Every student will get a Literacy (reading and writing) and Numeracy comment.
Comments are ONLY required in other subject areas if a student receives a BEG on any standard in that subject area.
Homeroom Indicators:
CON - Consistently
The student consistently applies and demonstrates effort toward learning.
GEN - Generally
The student generally applies and demonstrates effort toward learning
R/A - Requires Attention
The student needs to apply and demonstrate more effort toward learning.
Subject Indicators:
EXT - Extending
Student is extending further than current grade level expectations.
MEET - Meeting
Student is meeting current grade level expectations.
APP - Approaching
Student is approachin current grade level expectations.
BEG - Beginning
Student is beginning to demonstrate an understanding of current grade level expectations.
UA - Unable to Assess
Unable to assess due to lack of evidence.
MIPP - Modified Individual Program Plan
Student on a modified program based on IPP.
MLSP - Modified Learning Support Plan
Student on a modified program based on LSP.
