Constitutional Amendments
The third (and least commonly used) type of legislation is a Constitutional Amendment.
Constitutional Amendments are used to propose a change to the text of the Constitution. They are also used to change a Constitutional precedent as set by the Supreme Court.
Sample Amendments:
An Amendment to Eliminate Corporate Personhood
An Amendment to Define Marriage
An Amendment to Clarify the Second Amendment
