Ferðin til Danmerkur
Day one (Sunday):
Around six we arrived at Egilsstaðir airport and about an hour later, we took off. After a short flight, we arrived in the capital. Then we found our baggage and took a bus through the city and ended up at the Hotel Cabin. At this point everyone was hungry so we got pizza from Dominos that we ate at the hotel. The time was ticking and it was getting late so everyone went to sleep early to wake up at 3. a.m.
Day two (Monday):
We woke up at around 3:00 to get ready to go to the airport. We met up in the lobby at 3:45 and took a bus to Keflavík
At around 5:15 we arrived at the Keflavík airport. We took our bags inside and checked in.
After we checked in, we had free time at the airport. Some kids went to eat, some went to buy things at the shops and some just hung around.
At 8:30 we boarded the plane where some kids watched a movie and others went to sleep or listened to music.
At 13:30 in Danish time, we arrived and went to a bus that drove us to Esbjerg Central. The Danish families were waiting there and drove us to their homes. At around 16:00 everyone was at their families houses and we had freetime for the rest of the day.
Some kids went with their families to do something fun, like eating ice cream or taking a car ride around the town, and after that we ate dinner.
Then most of the kids met up at the school to play football and do stuff together. After that everyone went home and got a good night's sleep.

Wow. Being ready at 3:45 is a bit early!
The bus came at 5:16 and is taking us to Keflavík so we can fly to denmark.
Everybody needs to check in at the airport.
We are so excited for the trip!
After this we can go shopping and then go to the ariplane.

Everybody is very tired after waking up so early so it is good to take a nap in the airplane.
We just landed and are waiting for the bus to take us to Esbjerg
The bus is here and we are going to Esbjerg!
The families just drove us home and now we are exploring the town to see how beautiful it is.

And ice cream also! Wow, this can't get any better!
It is also nice to meet all the other kids and have fun together.

These days were amazing even though we spent alot of the times in a bus and planes ut we are so excited for the next days!!!
