Professional Commitment

As part of my professional commitment to counselling, in addition to being a qualified counsellor, I am a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). 

To meet the ACA requirements, I:

• Must meet their counselling qualifications, supervision, and counselling experience requirements for my Level 4 membership.

• Function within their Code of Ethics and Practice.

• Am subject to their complaint procedure.

• Must ensure that I maintain currency and effectiveness, by:

o   Participating in annual professional development, relevant to counselling.

o   Engaging in regular professional supervision.
