Please consider the following prior to committing to the phone mode for a session:
Technology Costs
Clients will be responsible for the costs of their call/s for the session/s.
Please consider these costs and what your phone plan provides for you.
Please note that Zoom or Google Meet can be used as an audio call without video, and may be a cheaper alternative, depending on your internet plans.
Privacy and Comfort
For the Client:
Be protective of your privacy during your sessions.
Decide on a place where you will be comfortable, safe, and private for your session, free from interruptions and distractions.
Choose a chair which will allow you to vary your posture.
Ensure that your device, whether phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop are up to date with virus and internet protection.
For the Counsellor/Life Coach: They will ensure that:
They are in a private room for your session.
Their device is up to date with virus and internet protection.
They utilise additional security functions of modes, when available and appropriate.
Resources
Have notepaper and a pen handy, with access to a hard surface for writing, if/when needed.
Session Contact
At the commencement time of your scheduled session, phone your counsellor/life coach on the number provided during your first contact.
Although not anticipated:
If the call is unsuccessful, wait 30-60 seconds and try again.
