Cancellation Policy

At some stage a session may need to be cancelled or rescheduled. Please take note of the following cancellation policy and procedure:

Cancellation by Client

• You may cancel a planned session at any time, prior to the event.

• If your cancellation notification is:

o   Greater than 24 hours before the planned session date/time, there will be no fee.

o   Less than 24 hours before the planned session date/time, the full session fee will still be required. However, this fee would be waived if your cancellation was due to illness or a personal/family emergency.

• Please communicate any cancellations as soon as possible. Your right to cancel is acknowledged and respected. 

• You would be free to reschedule, as needed.

Cancellation by Five Sparrows

• If your counsellor/life coach becomes unavailable because of illness or an emergency, you will be contacted as soon as possible and offered alternative session times.

• Five Sparrows will cancel any session or activity with a client if they appear to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Whether taken for health, therapeutic, or recreational reasons, legal or illegal, these will diminish one's capacity to use choice and informed consent throughout the session. A follow-up appointment would be offered.
