Master’s students must demonstrate proficiency in at least one foreign language, while doctoral students must demonstrate proficiency in two foreign languages.

• For master’s students, proficiency in English is mandatory.

• For doctoral students, proficiency in English is mandatory, and a second foreign language must be chosen from Spanish, German, French, or Italian, assessed or recognized by UFMT.

• International students must demonstrate proficiency in Portuguese.

The proof of proficiency exam approval must be submitted by the student, via SEI process, to the PPG in Physics office.
