Mission and Vision

The PPG in Physics at UFMT has as its Mission the formation of highly qualified human resources, capable of taking a leading role in the frontier challenges of pure and applied physics, as well as in the qualified transfer of scientific knowledge.

The Vision of the PPG in Physics for the next 4 years is to achieve a grade of 5 in the CAPES evaluation, or at a minimum, consolidate the grade 4 from the last evaluation. As a result of this promotion, the program expects to be nationally recognized as a consolidated program, diversified in its areas of activity, and with the production of original, high-quality knowledge with significant scientific impact.
