The infrastructure of the Graduate Program in Physics (PPGF) is designed to efficiently meet the academic and scientific demands of the program. The main available resources include:
Exclusive Classroom: A climate-controlled space with a capacity for 50 people, equipped with internet access, a projector, a 60-inch TV, and a sound system. This room is exclusively used by the PPGF, allowing for in-person, virtual, or hybrid classes and events.
Student Rooms: The PPGF provides six spacious, climate-controlled rooms for master's and doctoral students. All rooms are equipped with computers and internet access, ensuring a suitable environment for study and research.
Laboratory Infrastructure: In December 2024, a new building was inaugurated, housing several research laboratories with modern, high-quality facilities for experimental activities. Additionally, the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) is constructing a new building for the Institute of Physics, which will expand the available physical space and enable the creation of new laboratories.
Program Office: The PPGF infrastructure also includes a large office space dedicated to program administration, equipped with the necessary resources for efficient management. This well-organized and functional space provides adequate support for the program’s activities and its students.
With this structure, the PPGF ensures an academic environment conducive to the training and development of researchers, offering comprehensive support for teaching and research activities.
