Phase 5 is the brainstorm and refining process about the community space. Days 20-25
In their project groups, brainstorm ideas on what they think is the best type of community space that would improve the community cohesiveness.
Play a game of charades: each group will act out what their idea is and try to get the rest of the class to guess what it is. This will help them think about how the space might be used, and what people might do there.
Peer feedback: During the charades game, peers can give feedback to groups on how students might improve their brainstorm ideas and what flaws might need to be worked on.
Group reflection: After charades, each group will discuss and then share how they formed their ideas: where they started and how they changed their ideas over time.
In this phase, students can be assisted by doing warm-up charades practice to get them thinking. They may have another option of presenting. They can make a "What am I" quiz instead of doing charades - providing two or three clues about what type of space and letting the class guess. Play pictionary to try to make class guess instead of acting it out. Have class ask 20 questions, and student can say Yes or No to their questions.
