Inclement Weather
Please refer to VGCC Student Catalog regarding inclement weather procedures for the community college. Please pay attention to the local radio and television stations as well visiting the school’s website for current inclement weather and school status.
Library
Use of the library is a privilege on VGCC campus that comes with attendance at FCECHS. Seniors and Super Seniors are allowed to use the facility and those students in the library will be expected to conduct themselves in a quiet and orderly manner. Failure to do so may result in suspension of library privileges.
Student Accidents
All accidents must be reported to the office and properly documented.
Care of School Property
FCECHS and VGCC facilities should be respected in every way and kept in top condition. Defacing or damaging walls, desks, doors, walkways, books, Chromebooks, and other school property is a sign of disrespect and poor citizenship. School property is state property and therefore belongs to everyone. At FCECHS, we should respect our school and try our best to see that it is protected from needless abuse. Anyone who damages or destroys school property will be responsible for replacing/repairing that property. Depending on the seriousness of the offense, additional disciplinary action may be taken.
Off-Limits Areas
There are certain areas on campus that are off-limits to students during the school day..
1. VGCC parking lots (except when going to and from class)
2. Student vehicles (except when arriving to school and leaving school)
3. Any area that is not on a direct route to a class or supervised activity.
4. VGCC Student Library (seniors & super seniors only. A request must be made to VGCC in advance to use.)
Flowers, Balloons, and Other Gifts
School personnel will not accept delivery of flowers, balloons, or other gifts for a student. Students will not be allowed to carry flowers, balloons, or other gifts around during the school day or on Franklin County school buses.
Selling or Soliciting on School Campus
No student is allowed to sell any items or to solicit business for individuals or any group for any reason, without the express written consent of the principal.
