Behavior Calls:
Use walkies or call the front office for support calls
Use clear language below:
Code Color Level (yellow/purple), Teacher last name, grade level, student initials
Ex: “Code Color, Teacher, Grade, Student Initials, Location
Calls for behavior intervention should be made based on the Tiered-Behaviors & Response Level **Note we are using purple rather than red**

When you interact or support a student with consistent, disruptive or unsafe behaviors, document using the grade-level Incident Documentation spreadsheets. Individual teacher pages can be accessed using this document. .

It is set so that any staff member can go in and edit this document.
It is not the sole responsibility of the classroom teacher to document
When do I document?
Consistent tier 1 behaviors, especially when a parent contact could be necessary in the future
Code Yellow/Purple Calls
Referrals will be necessary in addition to this documentation to track patterns and escalations in behaviors
Referral documentation in TAC is the responsibility of classroom teachers and administrators (as applicable)
BSS and Counselors will only refer in cases they were the SOLE person with the student
