G-Code is the language used in most advanced manufacturing equipment and Computer numerical controlled (CNC) devices such as Laser Engravers, CNC Routers, Plasma cutters, and 3D printers. G-Code is a basic script language that uses coordinates to guide the tool heads to their appropriate locations to create the desired shape. Students can "play" with G-Code in a number of online programs.
