Admission to the FHS Academy is necessary for dual credit at FHS.
Requirements to Apply for the FHS College Academy
Have 90% cumulative attendance
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Has submitted an application cover Letter that addresses: a)Academic Goals; 2) College Goals; 3) Career Goals; 4) Why the student wants to join the FHS College Academy

Important Dates for spring of 2025 applicants
Parent Meeting in the iLab on November 7 at 6PM for class of 2027 and 2028. Parent Meeting on November 14 for Class of 2029 in FHS room 109
Application and Cover letter Submitted for spring 2025 admission is Nov 15
Interviews with the FHS Academy Faculty Committee for Spring Admission is Dec 2.
Admitted students for spring of 25 will be informed by December 13.
Admitted Students need to take the accuplacer in Reading, Writing, and Math on either Jan 13 or Jan 14. Testing is at 7:45 am on those dates. Bring a Chromebook and $20.
