A test or examination is an assessment intended to measure a test taker's knowledge, skill, aptitude, physical fitness or classification in many other topics. Tests vary in style, rigor and requirements. Colleges use a computerized multiple choice assessment test to measure your current skill level in English and Mathematics. Your assessment test scores are used to determine your recommended English and/or Math placement.
The preferred test for placement in college courses at Farmington High School is the ACT Exam, which is administered in September, October, December, February, April and June of each year (click the ACT subpage for more details). However, we also offer the Accuplacer examination for those students unable to complete the ACT prior to registration (click the Accuplacer subpage for more details).
