GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Good sportsmanship shall be stressed as a part of the program for participants, supervisors, and spectators.
Broad student participation shall be encouraged by member schools.
The matter of student health and safety should be given due consideration by all members. This will include the following:
A. Physical Examination
B. Safe and appropriate equipment and practice sessions shall be provided for each sport
GENERAL RULES
Schools must adhere to their state high school rules. NDHSAA - MSHSL
During all events and activities sponsored by the League, a tobacco, alcohol, and drug-free environment shall be established.
Officials:
Registered officials are to be assigned for contests when available.
Schedules and officials will be confirmed weekly for contests.
Game times will be established by the host schools. Times may be modified by mutual agreement.
Any student, grades 7 & 8, who participates in a senior high school event shall be prohibited from further middle school competition in that sport with the exception of track & field and wrestling.
Any student who is 15 years old prior to September 1st of the current school year is ineligible to play at the middle school level.
Make-up games shall be played at a time and place agreeable to both competing schools.
The All-City Track Meet will include grades 7 & 8.
