Sentence Stems
Sentence stems can be adapted by teachers to scaffold instruction for students' varying needs (Nafara, 2024). As addressed in the Activities and Materials indicator of the South Carolina Teaching Standards, teachers must provide materials that provide opportunities for students to interact. Sentence stems can serve that purpose.
