Engagement is a word emphasized in the education field. Bowerman (2023) explains that engagement is enhanced by the ability to build connections with a person or task over time.

As an educator, you plan and facilitate lessons in your classroom. Within your classroom, you work to engage students in your daily lesson. Sometimes you have lessons that are more engaging than others.
