We provide one on one sessions to individuals in foster care. We also serve individuals with disabilities and do have some cross-over in our caseload. We'd love to be able to provide groups if that option becomes available.

The Mayfly Project is a 501(c)(3) organization that uses fly fishing as a catalyst to mentor children in foster care. Our mission is to support children in foster care through fly fishing and introduce them to their local water ecosystems, hoping that connecting them to a rewarding hobby will allow foster children to have fun, feel supported, and develop a meaningful connection with the outdoors.

The C.A.P.E. program is interested in promoting prevention through education and action. We need help from our communities to make this possible. Anyone who would like to be a part of preventing child abuse and trauma, or learning about the process of healing should connect with us for more information.
The Communities Aligned in Prevention Efforts (C.A.P.E.) program is based out of the Bannock Youth Foundation in Pocatello. The C.A.P.E. program provides education on issues like ACE's, brain architecture, adversity and trauma, healthy outcomes from positive experiences, and more to anyone who is interested. The courses are designed to meet the needs of the individuals/organization that is interested. Some courses can be designed to offer CEU's for certain professionals.
The C.A.P.E. program works throughout Eastern Idaho to promote the Hope Conquers ACE's curriculum, designed by the Idaho Children's Trust fund. Being a part of the statewide network means that we can help anyone get connected to training opportunities. The C.A.P.E. program also oversees Child Abuse Prevention Month events in Region 6 of Idaho for the month of April as well as many other community events.
Champ’s Heart is a ministry to share horse encounter experiences with children and their family members who are facing life challenges such as cancer, terminal disabilities, mental illness, emotional and physical abuse.
A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is a specially trained volunteer from the community who is appointed by the Court to represent the best interests of the child in court. The CASA helps insure that the child's right to a safe, permanent home is acted upon in a sensitive and expedient manner and that progress is being made to achieve permanency for the child. The CASA acts as the "eyes and the ears of the Court.” Appointed by the judge, the CASA does his/her own independent investigation of the facts of the case and reports the facts, along with his/her recommendations, to the Court. The CASA stands as the representative for the child during all Court proceedings. After the disposition of the case, the CASA monitors the case as long as the child is under the jurisdiction of the Court, always making sure that the child's needs are being met in a reasonable and timely fashion.

Location: We meet 2x monthly at Gate City Christian Church, but also have an online membership for those who don’t want to come in person. Because of covid our childcare is limited, but we do our best to accommodate moms who wouldn’t be able to attend our evening meetings without it.
We are a moms’ support group, targeting mainly mothers of preschoolers, but all moms are welcome. We offer pertinent speakers, crafts, get-togethers for moms, & play dates for moms with their children, with the goal of building community & friendships. We are affiliated with MOPS International, & while we are a Christian group, we welcome moms of all beliefs.
