Academic Support

At WCB and at EMK, I will be supporting students in their journey to become readers! Through the use of Wilson Reading Fundations interventions and Collaborative Classrooms SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight words), we will explore the foundational skills of reading. Students will be assessed for placement into the program and instructed according to their needs.

About Me!

I live and work in East Windsor. My three children attended WCB (their names are on the dolphin wall!), M.H. Kreps, and graduated from Hightstown High School. They have graduated from college and are on their way in different careers.

Teaching is my first love, but second career.  I started subbing in the district in 2001 and after a Leave of Absence coverage, became a full-time teacher in September 2003.  I taught second grade for 10 years and then moved to Basic Skills to use my Wilson Reading training. I am the district trainer in Fundations and work with many of the K-2 teachers in both buildings. I love teaching reading.
