The Fundations program is used throughout the P-2 grade levels and can be extended to grade 3. It builds students skills with spelling, reading and comprehension through phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension strategies. Fundations lessons hold a variety of activities that promote these skills through multisensory learning. The program has recently been altered in order to reflect the Common Core.
